Car Share With Confidence

New to Roll With Me? For some car sharing might be a bit intimidating, but let’s be real you have entered kabu kabu before, this is kabu kabu with efizi and there’s every reason to give it a go.

We constantly monitor customer feedback and are easily reachable if you have any immediate concerns or want to talk to us

Staying Safe

We’ve designed Roll With Me to be as safe as possible. Our service is helping many Lagosians get to and from work safely and conveniently whilst providing extra income for others and playing our part in forming many new friendships.

Having said that it still pays to follow some common sense tips when you organise a ride.

Avoid providing your full name or address before you have met someone. Roll With Me will not share these details on your behalf.

Some members choose to show each other their IDs e.g. Work ID, student cards or driving licences so they know they're travelling with the right person.

As with any activity that involves meeting new people, it’s advisable to meet in a public place the first time. It’s a good idea to let friends and family know your plans.

Make good use of the secure messaging on Roll With Me App before your ride, and only agree to a lift if you’re happy.

You are never under any obligation to share a ride. If you don’t feel comfortable, don’t go through with the ride even if it’s been agreed.

You can check someone’s driving licence information here or share your driving licence information with someone else here.

Car Concerns

How to check whether a car is allowed on the road

You can be rest assured that details of the driver’s car. Such as insurance, vehicle licence, and roadworthiness documentation are updated. As they are mandatory before a driver is allowed to use the platform.

Roll With Me doesn’t affect your car insurance

Roll With Me suggested contributions do not allow drivers to generate profit from giving a ride. If you’re not generating a profit from the trip, and are not giving a ride to more than eight people at once, the Association of British Insurers states that normal car insurance policies are unaffected by car sharing. Since the fees you earn from passengers are based on Government-approved fuel contributions, you don’t need to worry.

Your personal details are safe

Only your first name and biography are visible to other users when you offer or request a ride. Your location information is filtered, this means we only show the first part of your address which is the street name, and the local government area. If you have provided your house number on the system, this will NOT show to other members.

Sharing phone numbers

Your mobile number is only shared with your driver or passenger once your booking is confirmed. This is so you can organise the details of your ride.
